What's up at Glen Echo Pottery
Although this website has been inactive for a while, Glen Echo Pottery has been buzzing with activity.  We hope to have a new, improved website in the near future.  Until then, occasional updates will be posted in this space.
  • Over the past year, our pottery classes have been very full, our greenware and bisque shelves often overflowing, and our two gas reduction kilns firing frequently.
  • For information on classes and online registration go to Glen Echo Park classes.
  • We had a highly successful workshop in late March, with North Carolina woodfire potter Mark Peters.
  • We had an outstanding exhibit of new work by advanced students and instructors, "2010 Variations in Clay," throughout May in the Popcorn Gallery in Glen Echo Park.  Beth Pitcher posted pictures of this show on Flickr
  • Our own sales gallery, open weekends noon-5:00 pm, began a new season in April and is doing well.
