Jeff Kirk

Jeff has been the director and full-time resident potter at Glen Echo Pottery since 1975. He has exhibited in many local and national shows, won numerous awards, and his work can be found in many private collections throughout this country and Europe. His most recent public commission was a ceramic mural for the Amazonian Building at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Zoo in Washington, DC. Jeff’s teaching philosophy allows all students the freedom to discover their own creativity. Many of Glen Echo’s students have become professional potters, a tribute to the unique character of the Pottery.
