Glen Echo Pottery located in historic Glen Echo Park (near Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD) offers

Glen Echo Pottery is a fully-vaccinated studio. All students must provide proof of vaccination to attend classes and related activities and wear masks indoors. Please click here for detailed information.

Pottery Gallery
Looking for unique, handcrafted pottery? The Glen Echo Pottery Gallery exhibits and sells functional and decorative ceramic art created by instructors and advanced students at the Pottery. This year it will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11 am until 4 pm from April 23 through December 18, 2022 and for extended times during some special events in the Park.

To complement the annual Labor Day Art Show at Glen Echo Park, the Pottery will extend our Gallery hours and offer additional pots for sale on tables outside our Gallery.
Friday, Sept. 2 6 - 7:30 pm During the Park's preview of the Art show in the Spanish Ballroom, the Pottery Gallery will also be open.
Saturday Sept. 3 and Sunday Sept. 4, the Pottery Gallery will be open 11 am to 6 pm and additional pots will be displayed on tables outside the Gallery.
On Monday, Sept. 5 the Gallery will be open from noon to 6 pm.

Lots of beautiful functional and decorative pots, sculpture, holiday decorations and ceramic jewelry! A few tables from our 2020 Winter Sale are shown below. Help us continue to improve Glen Echo Pottery.
As a non-profit organization we rely on tuition income and an active cadre of volunteers. Improving our facilities and replacing old equipment requires more, successfully competing for grant support and then raising the required matching funds! Click on I'd like to donate to see how you can help by contributing to our general fund or specify the special Kathy Darby Community Outreach Fund through which we fund pottery workshops for low-income youth. |
