           Annual Seconds Sale

                                      11:30 am - 4 pm
​   outside, on the hill across from our Gallery

                                        
  • Hundreds of original, one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces of pottery at greatly reduced prices.
  • Sale pots are slightly irregular or perfectly fine and just need a good home. 
  • Help our potters clear inventory so we can make new work.
  • Find the most amazing pottery at ridiculously low prices.
  • Beautiful weather expected (Just-in-case rain date: October, 29.)

Majority of proceeds benefit programming and facilities at Glen Echo Pottery, a 501c3 non profit organization.
 
The regular Glen Echo Pottery gallery will be open 11am-4pm with a wonderful selection of "firsts."
 
Sept. 26 is the day for the final carousel event of the 100th Anniversary Season for the Carousel in Glen Echo Park and the last day to ride the Carousel for the 2021 season. Many free fun activities for families.

2020 Events

In 2020 we converted our 33rd Annual Holiday Pottery Sale to an Outdoor Winter Pottery Sale in the Park on Sunday, December 6 and Saturday, December 12, 2020. 
​

The Pottery also participated in Glen Echo Park's Outdoor Art Markets on September 5 and October 17, 2020.  Tables were set up outside our Gallery yurt, as shown below.

Friday, March 24, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm:   Opening reception and artist's slide presentation and lecture
Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm :Demonstration of how to make various shapes both
       on and off the wheel and how to combine wheel-thrown and hand-built components into unique forms;
demonstration of decoration techniques using slips and glazes.
